What the Splorg didn't consider, was that Galaxy Girl wasn't its typical space victim. It's common knowledge among Space Rangers that Splorg can temporarily dissipate a ship's oxygen supply. So, just before the alien boarded her ship, Galaxy Girl popped an oxygen tablet. One tablet allow's her body to survive without oxygen for over an hour. The Space Ranger feigned death and fooled the Splorg.
